I grew up in a small farming community in NE Iowa where I learned responsibility at a young age. I was all-state football, basketball, and baseball my senior year of high school. I graduated from Kirkwood Community College with a 2 year degree in Business Administration and from the University of Northern Iowa with a 4 year degree in Business Education. I moved to Gainesville in 1982 and just retired from UPS after 31 years where I spent the last 17 years working in the Alachua/High Springs area.
